سُورَةُ يسٓ
Yā-Sīn
36:1
يسٓ ١
Yā-Sīn.1
36:2
وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ ٱلۡحَكِيمِ ٢
By the Qur’ān, Full-of-Wisdom,
36:3
إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ ٣
You [O Prophet] are indeed one of the Messengers,
36:4
عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ ٤
on a Straight Path.
36:5
تَنزِيلَ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٥
[It is a Revelation] sent down by [Him], the Mighty, the Most-Merciful,
36:6
لِتُنذِرَ قَوۡمٗا مَّآ أُنذِرَ ءَابَآؤُهُمۡ فَهُمۡ غَٰفِلُونَ ٦
in order that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and who, therefore, are heedless [of the Signs of Allāh].
36:7
لَقَدۡ حَقَّ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ عَلَىٰٓ أَكۡثَرِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ ٧
The Word1is proved true against the greater part of them: for they will not believe.
36:8
إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَا فِيٓ أَعۡنَٰقِهِمۡ أَغۡلَٰلٗا فَهِيَ إِلَى ٱلۡأَذۡقَانِ فَهُم مُّقۡمَحُونَ ٨
We will put yokes round their necks right up to their chins with heads raised and eyes lowered.
36:9
وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنۢ بَيۡنِ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ سَدّٗا وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡ سَدّٗا فَأَغۡشَيۡنَٰهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُبۡصِرُونَ ٩
And We will put a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and [further], We will cover them up so that they cannot see.
36:10
وَسَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَأَنذَرۡتَهُمۡ أَمۡ لَمۡ تُنذِرۡهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ ١٠
It is same to them whether you warn them or you do not warn them: they will not believe.
36:11
إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَخَشِيَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنَ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِۖ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِمَغۡفِرَةٖ وَأَجۡرٖ كَرِيمٍ ١١
You can warn such a one as follows the Message1and fears the Most-Gracious, unseen: Give such a one, therefore, good tidings of Forgiveness and a noble Reward.
36:12
إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نُحۡيِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ وَنَكۡتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُواْ وَءَاثَٰرَهُمۡۚ وَكُلَّ شَيۡءٍ أَحۡصَيۡنَٰهُ فِيٓ إِمَامٖ مُّبِينٖ ١٢
Verily, We shall bring the dead back to life, and We record [the deeds] they send forward [before their death] and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We recorded1in a Clear Book [of evidence].
36:13
وَٱضۡرِبۡ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ إِذۡ جَآءَهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ ١٣
Mention to them, by way of a parable, the [story of] the people of the town, when there came Messengers1to it.
36:14
إِذۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِمُ ٱثۡنَيۡنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزۡنَا بِثَالِثٖ فَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّآ إِلَيۡكُم مُّرۡسَلُونَ ١٤
When We [first] sent to them two Messengers, but they disbelieved both of them: So We strengthened them with a third who said, “Truly, we are Messengers [of Allāh] sent to you.”
36:15
قَالُواْ مَآ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُنَا وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ مِن شَيۡءٍ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا تَكۡذِبُونَ ١٥
The [people] said: “You are only humans like ourselves; and the Most-Gracious has sent no such revelation: You do nothing but lie.”
36:16
قَالُواْ رَبُّنَا يَعۡلَمُ إِنَّآ إِلَيۡكُمۡ لَمُرۡسَلُونَ ١٦
They said: “Our Lord does know that we have been sent as Messengers to you:
36:17
وَمَا عَلَيۡنَآ إِلَّا ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ ١٧
“And our duty is only to clearly deliver [the Message].”
36:18
قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا تَطَيَّرۡنَا بِكُمۡۖ لَئِن لَّمۡ تَنتَهُواْ لَنَرۡجُمَنَّكُمۡ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ ١٨
They [people] said: “For us, we augur an evil omen from you: if you desist not, we will certainly stone you [to death], and a painful punishment indeed will be inflicted on you by us.”
36:19
قَالُواْ طَٰٓئِرُكُم مَّعَكُمۡۚ أَئِن ذُكِّرۡتُمۚ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ قَوۡمٞ مُّسۡرِفُونَ ١٩
They [the Messengers] said: “Your evil omens are with yourselves: if you are reminded? Nay, but you are a people transgressing [all bounds]!”
36:20
وَجَآءَ مِنۡ أَقۡصَا ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ رَجُلٞ يَسۡعَىٰ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱتَّبِعُواْ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ ٢٠
Then there came a man, running from the farthest part of the town.1He said, “O My People! Follow the Messengers:
36:21
ٱتَّبِعُواْ مَن لَّا يَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ أَجۡرٗا وَهُم مُّهۡتَدُونَ ٢١
“Follow those who ask no remuneration of you [for themselves], and who are themselves guided.
36:22
وَمَالِيَ لَآ أَعۡبُدُ ٱلَّذِي فَطَرَنِي وَإِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ ٢٢
“Why should I not worship Him who created me, and to whom you [all] shall be sent back.
36:23
ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن يُرِدۡنِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ بِضُرّٖ لَّا تُغۡنِ عَنِّي شَفَٰعَتُهُمۡ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يُنقِذُونِ ٢٣
“Shall I take gods instead of Him? If the Most-Gracious should intend some adversity for me, of no use whatever will be their [these gods’] intercession for me, nor can they save me.
36:24
إِنِّيٓ إِذٗا لَّفِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٍ ٢٤
“Then indeed, I would be in manifest deviation.
36:25
إِنِّيٓ ءَامَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمۡ فَٱسۡمَعُونِ ٢٥
“For me, I have believed in the Lord of you [all]: Listen, then, to me!”
36:26
قِيلَ ٱدۡخُلِ ٱلۡجَنَّةَۖ قَالَ يَٰلَيۡتَ قَوۡمِي يَعۡلَمُونَ ٢٦
It was said [to this believer]: “Enter you Paradise!” He said: “Ah me! Would that my people knew [this]!
36:27
بِمَا غَفَرَ لِي رَبِّي وَجَعَلَنِي مِنَ ٱلۡمُكۡرَمِينَ ٢٧
“that my Lord has granted me forgiveness and has enrolled me among those held in honour!”
36:28
وَمَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ مِن جُندٖ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَ ٢٨
And We sent not down against his people, after him, any soldiers from heaven, nor was it needful for Us so to do.
36:29
إِن كَانَتۡ إِلَّا صَيۡحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ فَإِذَا هُمۡ خَٰمِدُونَ ٢٩
It was no more than a single mighty thunder, and behold! They [all] were [like ashes] quenched [silent].1
36:30
يَٰحَسۡرَةً عَلَى ٱلۡعِبَادِۚ مَا يَأۡتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ ٣٠
Ah! Alas for the servants!1There came not a Messenger to them but they mocked him!
36:31
أَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمۡ إِلَيۡهِمۡ لَا يَرۡجِعُونَ ٣١
See they not how many generations before them We annihilated? Not to them will they [ever] return:1
36:32
وَإِن كُلّٞ لَّمَّا جَمِيعٞ لَّدَيۡنَا مُحۡضَرُونَ ٣٢
Verily, all of them — without exception — shall be brought before Us [for Judgement].
36:33
وَءَايَةٞ لَّهُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ ٱلۡمَيۡتَةُ أَحۡيَيۡنَٰهَا وَأَخۡرَجۡنَا مِنۡهَا حَبّٗا فَمِنۡهُ يَأۡكُلُونَ ٣٣
A Sign for them is the dead earth: We bring it back to life, and produce grain therefrom, of which they do eat.1
36:34
وَجَعَلۡنَا فِيهَا جَنَّٰتٖ مِّن نَّخِيلٖ وَأَعۡنَٰبٖ وَفَجَّرۡنَا فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلۡعُيُونِ ٣٤
And We produced therein orchards with date-palms and vines, and We caused springs to gush forth therein:
36:35
لِيَأۡكُلُواْ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦ وَمَا عَمِلَتۡهُ أَيۡدِيهِمۡۖ أَفَلَا يَشۡكُرُونَ ٣٥
that they may eat the fruits of this [favour]: and what their hands have made:1Will they not then give thanks?
36:36
سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلۡأَزۡوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَمِنۡ أَنفُسِهِمۡ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ ٣٦
Glory to Allāh who created in pairs1all things that the earth produces, as well as their own [human] kind and [other] things of which they have no knowledge.
36:37
وَءَايَةٞ لَّهُمُ ٱلَّيۡلُ نَسۡلَخُ مِنۡهُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظۡلِمُونَ ٣٧
And a Sign for them is the Night: We [gently] draw the Day therefrom, and behold they are [suddenly] plunged in darkness;
36:38
وَٱلشَّمۡسُ تَجۡرِي لِمُسۡتَقَرّٖ لَّهَاۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقۡدِيرُ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡعَلِيمِ ٣٨
And the Sun moves into a place, settled for it: that is the decree of [Allāh], the Mighty, the All-Knowing.
36:39
وَٱلۡقَمَرَ قَدَّرۡنَٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَٱلۡعُرۡجُونِ ٱلۡقَدِيمِ ٣٩
As for the Moon, We have determined for it stations [to traverse] till it returns like the lower part of an old date-stalk.
36:40
لَا ٱلشَّمۡسُ يَنۢبَغِي لَهَآ أَن تُدۡرِكَ ٱلۡقَمَرَ وَلَا ٱلَّيۡلُ سَابِقُ ٱلنَّهَارِۚ وَكُلّٞ فِي فَلَكٖ يَسۡبَحُونَ ٤٠
It is not permitted to the Sun to catch up with the Moon, nor can the Night overtake the Day: Each [just] swims along in [its own] orbit [according to a Divine Scheme].
36:41
وَءَايَةٞ لَّهُمۡ أَنَّا حَمَلۡنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلۡمَشۡحُونِ ٤١
And a Sign for them is that We bore their progeny [through the Deluge] in the over-loaded Ark;
36:42
وَخَلَقۡنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثۡلِهِۦ مَا يَرۡكَبُونَ ٤٢
And We created for them similar [vessels] on which they ride.
36:43
وَإِن نَّشَأۡ نُغۡرِقۡهُمۡ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنقَذُونَ ٤٣
If it were Our Will, We could drown them: then would there be no helper [to hear their cry], nor would they be rescued,
36:44
إِلَّا رَحۡمَةٗ مِّنَّا وَمَتَٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٖ ٤٤
[they are spared] only by way of Our Mercy, and by way of [granting them worldly] convenience for a time.
36:45
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّقُواْ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيكُمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ ٤٥
When they are told, “Fear you that which is before you and that which will be after you, in order that you may receive Mercy,” [they turn back].
36:46
وَمَا تَأۡتِيهِم مِّنۡ ءَايَةٖ مِّنۡ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ إِلَّا كَانُواْ عَنۡهَا مُعۡرِضِينَ ٤٦
Not a Sign came to them from among the Signs of their Lord, but they turned away therefrom.
36:47
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ أَنفِقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَنُطۡعِمُ مَن لَّوۡ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ أَطۡعَمَهُۥٓ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ ٤٧
And when they were told, “Spend you of [the bounties] with which Allāh has provided you,” the Rejecters [of Faith] say to those who believe: “Shall we then feed those whom, if Allāh had so willed, He would have fed [Himself]? You are in nothing but manifest deviation.”
36:48
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلۡوَعۡدُ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ ٤٨
[Further] they say, “When will this warning [come to pass], if you are truthful?”
36:49
مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيۡحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ تَأۡخُذُهُمۡ وَهُمۡ يَخِصِّمُونَ ٤٩
They are not waiting but a single thunder which will seize them while they are still [hotly] disputing [among themselves]!
36:50
فَلَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ تَوۡصِيَةٗ وَلَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ ٥٠
No [chance] will they then have, by will, to dispose [of their affairs], nor to return to their families!
36:51
وَنُفِخَ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَجۡدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ يَنسِلُونَ ٥١
The Trumpet shall be blown, when, behold! [people] from the graves will rush forth to their Lord!
36:52
قَالُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَا مَنۢ بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرۡقَدِنَاۜۗ هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَصَدَقَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ ٥٢
They will say: “Ah! Woe unto us! Who has raised us up from our beds of repose?” [A voice will say:] “This is what the Most-Gracious had promised, and true were the Messengers!”
36:53
إِن كَانَتۡ إِلَّا صَيۡحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ فَإِذَا هُمۡ جَمِيعٞ لَّدَيۡنَا مُحۡضَرُونَ ٥٣
It will be no more than a single Thunder, when [after which] lo! They will all be brought up before Us!
36:54
فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ لَا تُظۡلَمُ نَفۡسٞ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ٥٤
Then, on that Day, not a soul will be wronged in the least, and you shall but be repaid the recompense of your past deeds.
36:55
إِنَّ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ فِي شُغُلٖ فَٰكِهُونَ ٥٥
Verily, the People of Paradise that Day shall have joy in [all] that they would do;
36:56
هُمۡ وَأَزۡوَٰجُهُمۡ فِي ظِلَٰلٍ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ مُتَّكِـُٔونَ ٥٦
They and their consorts will be in [pleasant] shades, reclining on raised couches;
36:57
لَهُمۡ فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَ ٥٧
[Every] fruit will be there for them; [moreover] they shall have whatever they call for;
36:58
سَلَٰمٞ قَوۡلٗا مِّن رَّبّٖ رَّحِيمٖ ٥٨
[It will be said to them:] “Peace!” — a word [of salutation] from a Lord Most-Merciful!
36:59
وَٱمۡتَٰزُواْ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ أَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ ٥٩
“And O You the sinners,1stand you apart this Day!
36:60
أَلَمۡ أَعۡهَدۡ إِلَيۡكُمۡ يَٰبَنِيٓ ءَادَمَ أَن لَّا تَعۡبُدُواْ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمۡ عَدُوّٞ مُّبِينٞ ٦٠
“Did I not enjoin on you, O Children of Ādam,1that you should not worship the Shayṭān; for he is to you an enemy manifest?,
36:61
وَأَنِ ٱعۡبُدُونِيۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٞ مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ ٦١
“and that you should worship Me [alone], [for] this is the Straight Path?
36:62
وَلَقَدۡ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمۡ جِبِلّٗا كَثِيرًاۖ أَفَلَمۡ تَكُونُواْ تَعۡقِلُونَ ٦٢
“[But] he did lead astray a great multitude of you. Did you not, then, understand?
36:63
هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُمۡ تُوعَدُونَ ٦٣
“Here is Hell of which you were warned.
36:64
ٱصۡلَوۡهَا ٱلۡيَوۡمَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡفُرُونَ ٦٤
“So burn you in the [Fire] this Day, for you [persistently] rejected [Truth].”
36:65
ٱلۡيَوۡمَ نَخۡتِمُ عَلَىٰٓ أَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَتَشۡهَدُ أَرۡجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ ٦٥
That Day We shall set seals on their mouths, [but] their hands will speak to Us, and their feet bear witness to all that they did.
36:66
وَلَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسۡنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعۡيُنِهِمۡ فَٱسۡتَبَقُواْ ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبۡصِرُونَ ٦٦
If it had been Our Will, We could surely have defaced their sight; then they would have raced towards the Path, but how could they have seen?
36:67
وَلَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخۡنَٰهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمۡ فَمَا ٱسۡتَطَٰعُواْ مُضِيّٗا وَلَا يَرۡجِعُونَ ٦٧
And if it had been Our Will, We could have defaced them in their places; then they would have been unable to move about, nor could they have returned [after error].
36:68
وَمَن نُّعَمِّرۡهُ نُنَكِّسۡهُ فِي ٱلۡخَلۡقِۖ أَفَلَا يَعۡقِلُونَ ٦٨
If We grant long life to any, We cause him to be reversed in nature:1Will they not then understand?
36:69
وَمَا عَلَّمۡنَٰهُ ٱلشِّعۡرَ وَمَا يَنۢبَغِي لَهُۥٓۚ إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرٞ وَقُرۡءَانٞ مُّبِينٞ ٦٩
We have not taught poetry to [the Prophet], nor is it adequate for him: This is none but a Message and a Qur’ān making things clear:
36:70
لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيّٗا وَيَحِقَّ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ ٧٠
that it may warn any [who are] alive, and that the word may be proved true against those who reject [Truth].1
36:71
أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّا خَلَقۡنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتۡ أَيۡدِينَآ أَنۡعَٰمٗا فَهُمۡ لَهَا مَٰلِكُونَ ٧١
See they not that it is We who have created for them — among the things which Our hands have fashioned — [like] cattle which are owned by them [to use as they wish]?,
36:72
وَذَلَّلۡنَٰهَا لَهُمۡ فَمِنۡهَا رَكُوبُهُمۡ وَمِنۡهَا يَأۡكُلُونَ ٧٢
and [see they not] that We have subjected them [cattle] to their [use]?1Of them, some carry them and of some they consume:
36:73
وَلَهُمۡ فِيهَا مَنَٰفِعُ وَمَشَارِبُۖ أَفَلَا يَشۡكُرُونَ ٧٣
And they have [other] benefits from them [besides], and they get [milk] to drink. Will they not then be grateful?
36:74
وَٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةٗ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ ٧٤
[Yet] they take [for worship] gods other than Allāh, [hoping] that they might be helped!
36:75
لَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ نَصۡرَهُمۡ وَهُمۡ لَهُمۡ جُندٞ مُّحۡضَرُونَ ٧٥
They [idols] have no power to help them: and they [polytheists] are an army brought up before them.1
36:76
فَلَا يَحۡزُنكَ قَوۡلُهُمۡۘ إِنَّا نَعۡلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعۡلِنُونَ ٧٦
So let not their speech, then, grieve you. Verily, We know what they hide as well as what they disclose.
36:77
أَوَلَمۡ يَرَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُ مِن نُّطۡفَةٖ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٞ مُّبِينٞ ٧٧
Does Man not see that it is We who created him from a sperm? Yet, [behold!] he [stands forth] as an open adversary [to Us]!
36:78
وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلٗا وَنَسِيَ خَلۡقَهُۥۖ قَالَ مَن يُحۡيِ ٱلۡعِظَٰمَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمٞ ٧٨
And he [shamelessly] makes comparisons for Us and forgets his own [origin and] Creation:1He says, “Who can give life to bones, old and decayed?”
36:79
قُلۡ يُحۡيِيهَا ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَهَآ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٖۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلۡقٍ عَلِيمٌ ٧٩
Say [O Prophet], “He will bring them to life who created them the first time! For He fully knows [the secrets of] all [His] creation,
36:80
ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ ٱلۡأَخۡضَرِ نَارٗا فَإِذَآ أَنتُم مِّنۡهُ تُوقِدُونَ ٨٠
“the same [Allāh] who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when [behold!] you kindle therewith [your fires]!
36:81
أَوَلَيۡسَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخۡلُقَ مِثۡلَهُمۚ بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ ٱلۡخَلَّٰقُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٨١
“Is not He, who created the heavens and the earth, able to create the like thereof?” — Yes, indeed! For He is the Creator-Supreme, the All-Knowing.
36:82
إِنَّمَآ أَمۡرُهُۥٓ إِذَآ أَرَادَ شَيۡـًٔا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ ٨٢
Verily, His rule is that when He intends a thing, His Command is, “Be!,” and it is!
36:83
فَسُبۡحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِي بِيَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَإِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ ٨٣
So glory to Him in whose Hands is the dominion of all things: And to Him will you all be brought back.
