سُورَةُ الشَّرۡحِ
The Expansion
94:1
أَلَمۡ نَشۡرَحۡ لَكَ صَدۡرَكَ ١
[O Prophet] Did We not expand for you your breast?1
94:2
وَوَضَعۡنَا عَنكَ وِزۡرَكَ ٢
And removed from you your burden,
94:3
ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهۡرَكَ ٣
which did break your back?
94:4
وَرَفَعۡنَا لَكَ ذِكۡرَكَ ٤
And raised high the esteem [in which] you [are held]?
94:5
فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرًا ٥
So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief:
94:6
إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرٗا ٦
verily, with every difficulty there is relief.
94:7
فَإِذَا فَرَغۡتَ فَٱنصَبۡ ٧
Therefore, when you are free [from your obligatory prayers], still labour hard,1
94:8
وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرۡغَب ٨
and to your Lord turn [all] your attention.
