قِيلَ لَهَا ٱدۡخُلِي ٱلصَّرۡحَۖ فَلَمَّا رَأَتۡهُ حَسِبَتۡهُ لُجَّةٗ وَكَشَفَتۡ عَن سَاقَيۡهَاۚ قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ صَرۡحٞ مُّمَرَّدٞ مِّن قَوَارِيرَۗ قَالَتۡ رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمۡتُ نَفۡسِي وَأَسۡلَمۡتُ مَعَ سُلَيۡمَٰنَ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ٤٤
She was asked to enter the palace [of Sulaymān]. When she saw it, she thought it was a body of [deep] water, and she [tucked up her skirts], uncovering her legs. He [Sulaymān] said: “This is but a palace paved [and tall] with [slabs of] glass.” She said: “O My Lord! I have indeed wronged my soul: I do [now] submit, with Sulaymān, to Allāh, the Lord-of-the-Worlds.”
